Shri. C.K.Menon, Director, Norka-Roots has been honoured with Padmasri – the prestigious civilian award of India. Shri. Menon got the award for his contribution in the field of social service. The ministry of overseas Indian affairs had also honoured Shri.C.K. Menon in 2006 with the Pravasi Bharatiya Samman.

Shri. CK Menon is one of the successful Indian business icons in the Gulf region and his business is spread in Middle East, the United Kingdom and the United States. He is the chairman of Behzad Group (fuel trading and transport by road and sea) of companies in Qatar. Shri. Menon, hailing from Thrissur district of Kerala, began his business in Qatar in 1978.
