Department of Non Resident Keralites’ Affairs (NORKA), Government of Kerala and Norka-Roots a Govt. of Kerala Enterprise have jointly organized ‘Keraleeya Pravasi Sangamam- 2008’, a meet of Malayalee Associations across the globe on 2nd and 3rd January 2008 at Gokulam Convention Centre, Kaloor, Cochin. Representatives of Malayalee associations functioning abroad, Kerala and other states in India participated the meet and shared their views.

The meet was inaugurated by Shri.V.S. Achuthanandan, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Kerala. Shri.Vayalar Ravi, Hon’ble Minister for Overseas Indian Affairs presided over the function. 73 delegates from Abroad, 135 from Kerala and 63 delegates from other states in India attended the meet.
